The A2 was Omega's first post war 35mm
enlarger, and, in fact, the first since the original Model A of 1938.
Purportedly the civilian version of a model built for the military, it
enjoyed a substantial production run into the early 1960s.
Two versions were sold - the Professional,
with a column length permitting magnifications up to about 12"x18",
and the Portable, with a shorter column providing a maximum
magnification of up to 9"x13½".
Used Advice: The
A-2 used few parts in common with other Omega models so it's
particularly important to ensure that the enlarger is complete, as
parts will be hard to find. |
